 MCHS 2014 Prom


MCHS FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE: The MCHS cheerleaders will be hosting the Father/Daughter dance on Saturday, April 26 from 6:30 until 9:00 in the MCHS Gym. Tickets are $20 plus $5 per extra daughter. You may purchase tickets from any MCHS cheerleader. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mandy Peavey.

BATTLE OF THE CLASSES: Watch the classes battle it out for bragging rights on Thursday, April 24th at 2:00 in the old gym. Admission is $2 for those students not participating.

FCA COLOR WAR: Join FCA on Friday, April 25 at the end of the school day for a COLOR WAR! Tickets cost $1 and can be purchased between Friday, April 18th and Friday, April 25th. Bring your own white t-shirt!

CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Seth Gipson, B.J. Marsh and Logan Strader. These boys will represent MCHS this summer at Boys State. Congratulations to Madison Pair who will represent MCHS at Girls State. Congratulations to Emily Fleming for being selected as the Alternate for Girls State. It's GREAT to be a TIGER!

MCHS EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA: Clubs and Organizations at MCHS will be hosting an Easter Egg-stravaganza on Friday, April 18 at 4:00. Come out to the football field for a free Easter egg hunt! We look forward to seeing you there!

ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE: Drake State is partnering with NACEE to host a free event on Thursday, May 1 from 1:00-7:00 in order to help prepare students for any college by assisting individuals with filling out their FASFA. Click here for more information.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITY: Adventures at AMCOM Enrichment Program, open to incoming 9th-12th graders, provides invaluable experience and exposure on how the Army technology, acquisition and sustainment activities function. ACT ONLINE PREP:  ACT offers free 24/7 online practice tests at All students in grades 9 through 11 have been given their username and password. If you have any questions, then see Mrs. Pearsall, Mrs. Peavey or Mrs. Bennett.

BATTLE OF THE CLASSES: If you would like to participate in this year's "Battle of the Classes", then sign up during lunch! Battle of the Classes will be on Thursday, April 24. To participate, the cost is $15 which includes a tee shirt. If you would like to order a shirt without participating, the cost is still $15. Please see Mrs. Houk if you have any questions.

Student Parking:  Students should see Col. Maijala or Sgt. Shipp, in room 170, for a student parking form.  Students should return the signed forms (including parent signature) with their driver’s license, proof of insurance and $20.00 to receive a parking decal.  All students driving to school MUST have a MCHS parking decal. 

School Store:  The school store is now in business in the library.  There are several items available for your convenience.  Stop by to see Mrs. Houk!
