Every student deserves to have his/her basic needs met.

Every student deserves a meaningful, challenging and purposeful education.

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.

Everyone needs love, acceptance, support, and guidance to promote self-worth.

Everyone needs to be responsible for his/her actions.

New Market School has been a part of the community of New Market for over 100 years.  The school is a great source of pride for the community and many of the activities in the community revolve around the school.  Our current enrollment is over 560 students. We serve students in grades Pre-K through eighth.

The New Market Community was one of the first communities settled in Madison County.  The community is comprised of basically middle to lower income families.  Most parents work about the community in the city of Huntsville.  New Market is located approximately 15 miles north east of Huntsville.  Although New Market is located close to the city, it has retained its small county town identity.
