What do we do in computer lab?

 

Computer Lab #201 is the primary lab for students in kindergarten through second grade.  Our primary goal is to introduce basic computer and research skills.  

 

Throughout the year students will be introduced to opening, closing, formatting and composing Word documents. 

 

KidPix is used to do creative writing and illustrating.  Children learn to use various drawing, stamping, and text tools.  By the end of the year, 2nd graders create a slide show. 

 

Children will also be taught how to use the Internet to do research.  Please note that research sites are book-marked to ensure your child’s safety. 

 

Every year a child must have a signed Authorized Users Policy (AUP) on file
