Fund Raisers

Fundraisers are a very vital part of the band program at Meridianville.  The money raised through fundraisers is used to purchase instruments, stands, chairs, music, miscellaneous equipment, contest and competition fees, buses for travel to and from football games, contest, etc.  The school system provides one thing for the band program; the salary for the band director.  All additional purchases and needs must be met through fundraising done by the band parents and students. 

The Band Parent Organization has made an option available to those who do not wish to participate in fund raisers.  That option is to make a donation to the band program in the amount of $125.  Families with more than child in the program will pay $62.50 for the second child.  Some families have made the decision to make a donation as well as participate in the fund raisers.  Thank you!!!  Your support is greatly appreciated!

It is of utmost importance that everyone participates in the fundraising events.

·  Our goal for this year is to raise $21,000+ for instruments, music, equipment, buses, etc.

 

 

·  Donut sales every Friday.  We need 2-4 people per week to help.

 

 

·  Cookie Dough Sales (starts in October)!!!

 

§   We work the fly-in breakfast at Moontown Airport every 3rd Saturday. This is a good fundraiser for us! Please consider helping with this fundraiser if you can.

 

§  We are staffing concessions during various events at the VBC this year. For each person that works, we earn $6/hour! Please help us out and sign up to work a shift at the VBC if you can.

 

§  Box Tops and Labels for Education! Please save these and turn them in to Shannon! Thanks for your help!
