Status:  Married 3 years to Jim King.  We met while both shopping in the electronics department in Wal-Mart.  The rest is history!

Children: We had our first child on May 20,2004.  His name is Cason and is the cutest baby in the world, at least we think so!!!  

Pets:  Two beautiful Greyhounds.  Bandit is a black and white female. Zeke is a grey brindle male.

Hobbies:

Reading
I actually love to listen to books on tape.  Some of my favorites are: The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis, Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech, and The Giver by Lois Lowery.

Skiing
I love to snow ski.  I am not very good at it, but it is a lot of fun!  My favorite place to ski is Mt. Tremblant, Canada and Copper Mountain, Colorado.

Traveling

From the Heart:
I absolutlely love working here at Meridianville Middle School.  I love it now that I am the Librarian because I am able to interact with all of the students here and not just the ones in my classroom.  I enjoy seeing and visiting with my former students in the library. 
I love talking with the students about the latest books they or I have read and finding out their opinion of the books. 
My life has truly been blessed by working with such a wonderful, caring administration, faculty, staff and group of students.  I can't think of a better place to work!!!
