Madison County Elementary School is located in the small town of Gurley, AL.

From Huntsville, take Highway 72 East  going toward the Jackson County Line.  From the light at the foot of Chapman Mountain., we are located approximately 15 miles east.  Follow Highway 72 East until you arrive in the town of Gurley.  You will see a Hardee's Restaurant on the left hand side of the road.  The third road past Hardee's on the left is Gurley Pike.  There is a sign at the corner of Gurley Pike and Highway 72 E that advertises our school.
If you pass Piggly Wiggly, you have gone too far.
Turn left on Gurley Pike and follow across the railroad tracks.  Once you cross the tracks the third road on the right is Wood Street.  Turn right on Wood Street and the school will be located on your left.

The address is 173 Wood Street.

If you are attending our school for a special event such as an athletic event, Destination Imagination, Fall Festival or a PTA program, please go past the school on Wood Street.
Follow Wood Street to the Stop Sign, which is the intersection of Joplin St. and Wood St.
