Directions to High Schools and HS Athletic Fields

North Alabama Area

Directions to Decatur High School and Ogle Stadium - (OGLE STADIUM IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO DECATUR HIGH SCHOOL AND DECATUR GENERAL HOSPITAL).  Take I565 W  passing under I65.  I565W will merge into Hwy 20W.  Continue on Hwy 20W and cross the Tennessee River Bridge.  After bridge, continue straight on U.S. 31 (6th Avenue) for @0.8 miles to the intersection of U.S. 31 South (6th Avenue) and Prospect Drive S.E..  After you cross the bridge you will go through 8 traffic lights.  At ninth traffic light turn left onto Prospect Drive S.E. and travel @0.3 miles to the intersection of Prospect Drive S.E. and Somerville Road S.E.  Decatur High School is on the right.  Ogle Stadium is behind Decatur High School.  Turn right on the unnamed paved alley immediately after the intersection of Prospect Drive S.E. and 9th Avenue S.E. to the Visitor's Field House at Ogle Stadium.

Directions to Hazel Green High School – Take Memorial Parkway north. Go about 17-18 miles.  After passing through Meridianville 
you come to Hazel Green.  The school is on the right.  There are two schools, elementary and high school.  The high school is the second.
The soccer field is behind the school.
 
Directions to Sparkman High School –  Go north on Jordan Lane (Highway 53) about 10 miles past University 
Drive.  You will pass a nursery on the left. At the Exxon Station turn left on Jeff Road at the red light.
The school is about one mile down the road on the right.
 
Directions to Bob Jones / Madison City Schools  Stadium - From the east (Huntsville), travel west on I-565.  Take Madison Blvd exit 13, 
continuing west 3.8 miles. After you pass Wal-Mart follow the brown "Stadium"  sign, turning right at the Ramada 
Inn onto Celtic Dr. The stadium is less than 1/2 mile on the left.  From the west (Decatur), travel east on I-565.  Take Wal-Triana Hwy exit 8 
and turn left (north). At the first light turn right on Madison Blvd. Travel approximately 0.5 mi and (Mapquest indicates a 
U-turn is required here) turn north at the Ramada Inn onto Celtic Dr. (There is most likely a brown "Stadium" sign in this 
easterly direction on Madison Blvd as well.) The stadium is less than 1/2 mile on the left. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Birmingham Area

Directions to Hoover High School from Pelham (I-65): Exit I-65 at exit # 250 onto I-459 South toward Tuscaloosa (you will be bearing left on the exit ramp). Drive 5 miles along I-459 South and exit at exit # 10 (the Hoover exit). Turn left at the bottom of the exit onto Hwy 150 East. Drive 0.4 miles to the second traffic light and turn right into the entrance of "Trace Crossings" (you will be traveling toward The Hoover Metropolitan Stadium). Drive 0.7 miles and turn left onto Learning Lane. Drive 0.5 miles along Learning Lane and the road will intersect (dead end) the Hoover High School Drive. From this intersection you will be able to see the high school ahead. Turn right at this intersection. Drive 0.1 mile and you will pass the entrance to Hoover High.

Directions to Mountain Brook High School: Take I-459 toward Atlanta. Exit at Liberty Parkway. Turn right - Go under the interstate (This puts you on Overton Road). Stay on Overton Road - go 3 blocks to the traffic light. Turn right at light onto Oakdale Drive. Stay on Oakdale Drive to the traffic light - take a right which puts you at Mountain Brook High School.

Directions to Oak Mountain High School -- From I-65 North - take exit 246 (Highway 119 exit). Turn left onto Hwy 119. Continue on Hwy 119 for 3.0 miles. Turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of Caldwell Mill & Hwy 119. There will be a Sunny Foods with a Shell Service Station on the left at the intersection. Oak Mountain High School is about ½ mile on the left. 

Directions to Spain Park High School: Take I-65 South.  Take Exit for Valleydale Road.  Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp.  Go straight until you come to a shopping area where you will see a Winn Dixie Grocery/shopping center on the right.  The intersection is Caldwell Mill Road and Valleydale Road. There is a McDonalds on your left close to the intersection. Proceed through this light until you come to another light with a road that only turns left. This is the entrance to Spain Park high school.  Some of the landmarks are “Hudson” collision repair shop on the right and “Anything Grows” shop on the left ~300 ft from where you will need to turn left. Once you turn left here, follow loop road around the back of the campus and you will come to an entrance on your right past the baseball fields.  Enter parking lot and field will be in front of you (Spain Park 1) Spain Park 2 is the football stadium and can be reached from this parking lot or by going around to the front of the Stadium

Directions to Vestavia High School from I-65: Take I-65 to Montgomery Highway Exit (Exit 252).  Take Hwy. 31 North.  Follow Highway 31 North to the Third Stop Light.  Turn Right onto Vestridge Drive.  Go straight at stop sign. Go to Gay Way and turn left.  Go to next stop sign and turn left onto Panorama Drive.  Go to next stop sign and turn right onto Lime Rock Road. School is down the hill on the right.

Turn right onto Old Rocky Ridge Road.  Go to stop light and turn right onto Rocky Ridge Road.  Follow Rocky Ridge Road to the second stop light. Turn left onto Morgan Drive.  Go to stop sign and turn left onto Lime Rock Road. The school is on the left.
