Larry Selby is the newest addition to the Buckhorn High School Administration. This is his second year as Assistant Principal. Mr. Selby graduated from Scottsboro High and pursued his undergraduate degree at Athens State. He obtained his B.S. degree in Education, Physical Education, and Science from Athens State. He later recieved his Master's degree in Administration from the University of Alabama. From then on, he taught Physical Education and coached baseball and football at Sparkman Middle School. He then transfered to Buckhorn High School where he is now Assistant Principal. Besides being part of the Buckhorn family, he devotes his time to a family of his own. His wife, Tammy Selby, is a teacher at Chapman Middle School. They have a total of three children. Austin (age 10) and Dalton (age 6) both attend Mt. Carmel Elementary. Their youngest daughter, Kaytlyn, is five years old. Mr. Selby is a great asset to the Buckhorn Administration and we hope that he will be here for years to come.
